After performing Official Functions all day in Knowsley, Mayor and Mayoress Dave and Sarah Smithson came in for their tea of pizzas and garlic bread.

They stopped and spoke to customers and staff and are now contributors to our Facebook fansite too.

It's the most revolutionary improvement in our online ordering system since it was launched just over 10 years ago.

The Pizza Tracker has been available in the US since January 2008 and will allow web customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland to see (almost) exactly where their pizza is at any time prior to delivery.

Customers using the tracker can see a changing display that shows when the order has arrived at the store, when it is in the oven, when it is ready for collection or on the road and when it’s been safely delivered and the driver is back in the store.

Domino's Pizza Huyton Supports Merseyside Fire Crews on Guy Fawkes Night

Our new pizza is called The Big Smoky so we thought a quick visit to Huyton Fire Station would be in order to see if our local Firefighters would be able to douse the flames and extinguish their hunger.

Bonfire Night is one of the busiest nights of the year for our Emergency Services and this year proved no exception with crews attacked in Netherton, Kirkby and Whiston.

Large Crowds See Soldiers Granted Freedom of The Borough of Knowsley

Large crowds turned out in Huyton Village on Sunday October 18th 2009 to see 100 soldiers from the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment awarded The Freedom of the Borough of Knowsley.

The last recipient was Steven Gerrard in 2008.

Our Chickens !

Look I know it's got nothing to do with pizza, but I wanted to share with you this picture of our two chickens, Trisha and Glenys,who came to us 2 weeks ago after being rescued from a battery farm by Little Hen Rescue, a charitable trust which rehomes over 15,000 ex-battery chickens per year.

After their first moult at the age of about 13 months chickens become less productive in their egg-laying and so uneconomic. They are thus disposed of or rehomed by people like Little Hen Rescue.

Their feathers are starting to grow back, the bumps and bruises from a lif of over-crowdedness have gone and they are pretty much back to full strength.

Although Glenys has yet to lay an egg, young Trisha has given us one every single day since her arrival.

They are slowly getting used to the free range life and have completely eradicated the spider population in our garden!

So if you are interested in keeping chickens just ask me about it when you order your next pizza!

Kevin Bimpson of Domino's Pizza Huyton sang his heart out in the Grand Final of Domino's Got Talent last week at The Echo Arena in Liverpool and finished in second place.

He broke the hearts of many girls there in the audience and we are all sure he will go onto gretaer things. Watch out for Kevin this Summer in The X Factor.

Here is his performance in the afternoon and then again on the night. On the second part the muppet standing up holding a camers phone is me, his new biggest fan!

We were pleased to tell Harold Wilson, Former Labour Prime Minister and MP for Huyton before moving on to KFC and then to Claire's Accessories where we are pictured with Kevin Bimpson's sister. Bernie Knocks 'em Out By Throwing the Hardest Punch for St Helens and Huyton Domino's Pizza

At the recent Domino's Pizza Awards Banquet held at The Liverpool Echo Arena my GLW (Good Lady Wife) Bernie won the boxing competition to find who could throw the hardest punch! (nuff said)

Fighting for the honour of St Helens and Huyton Domino's Pizza, she romped home to victory in the "Girls" category and won a pair of pink boxing gloves signed by the special guest and Former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mr Frank Bruno (see below).

She is pictured here being presented with her prize by a very nervous looking Simon Wallace fro MJW Consulting who sponsored the event.

We support Real Radio North-West and their Bring a Pound to Work Day Appeal which this year is supporting Alder Hey Children's Hospital and The New Children's Hospital Appeal Manchester.

One of the events on Thurday 30th April is was a Charity Auction so Bernie donated the gloves to this very worthy cause to help raise even more money. We are pleased to say that the winning bid was £65!
